Sunday 7-3-2022 In a rapid spread, more than 221 Arab civil society organizations showed solidarity in the second week of the launch of the “Climate Action Charter for Arab Civil Society Organizations” document, which is part of the activities of the regional campaign for a sustainable climate. It is the result of more than 50 meetings and events with the participation of representatives of Arab NGOs, where it was produced as a proposal to activate the role of NGOs in confronting climate change. It was also reviewed and its wording was adjusted as a first draft by a committee of experts and consultants specialized in the field of climate action and sustainable development and representatives of work networks of Arab NGOs.
